I'm in a bit of an art drought at the moment, so I figured I'd give it a whirl as a quick exercise.

I'm not completely satisfied (art drought still fully in effect), but it's not horrible. Which is better than nothing! I quite enjoy the texture. I painted this almost entirely in the wrong brush without noticing, which is bizarre and stupid of me. I thought the settings were just off because I had to kill and reinstall Corel Painter XI recently, until right near the end when I noticed that, no, I was just using a completely different brush from the one I meant to pick. But hey, at least now I don't just use one brush...
