All you lasses in Parnassus, swallowing swords
Shooting out fire at us heathen hordes
I was thinkin' something before I began
But then you done cut off both of my hands
Now I do my drinking from bamboo straws
Constantly kicking at tarantulas
What was I thinking, move to Baltimore?
Oh yeah, the great outdoors!

More wrong with this than I care to go into. But it's just a doodle, so nyah.

I love the painting, but the poem is a bit disturbing =D

I know I wouldn't like to have my arms lopped off and be forced to drink out of bamboo straws for the rest of my life... maybe that's just me though =P

The poem is lyrics from Clutch's The Great Outdoors, my favourite band. I'm a bit obsessively-listening-to-Clutch today (and even wearing my new Clutch hoodie), since I went to see them live on Monday and yeah, I'm a total fangirl. XD Southern rock ftw. :D

lol, I've never even heard of that group. I'm more into classic rock... Eagles, Beatles, Beach Boys, Steve Miller... those kinds of groups...

Clutch are probably the most famous underground rock band ever. XD They have a big following, but never got commercially 'big'. And they've been going for well over ten years now! You might like some of their later stuff - it's less hard rock and more blues influenced. :)

Well, I do listen to hard rock, just as long as it's not filled with foul language... I like the band Pillar

Very little foul language in Clutch. In fact, the lyrics are usually bit obscure. :3

Sorry, I will stop trying to tell you how awesome they are now. XD

Clutch = the shit. :D Everyone I know who likes rock loved them the moment they heard any of their music. I recommend From Beale Street to Oblivion for more blue-sy stuff and Pure Rock Fury for more rock stuffs. :3
